Captain Moody is a pirate who is obsessed with cleaning his ship. He is not happy unless his ship is spotless (until Uniqua cheered him up). According to Maharani Tasha, he is "the grumpiest person on the seven seas." He is also not to be confused with Captain Pablo.
Looks
Captain Moody is primarily blue. He wears a black pirate hat with blue outlining and a skull-and-crossbones symbol in its center. He wears gray pants and a black belt around his waist.
Appearances
Pablo has only played Captain Moody in one episode of The Backyardigans: "Fly Girl" from season three. Captain Moody's outfit is also seen as a disguise in "Le Master of Disguise". Pablo also had this outfit in "Pirate Treasure" from season one, but with a peg leg which he doesn't have in this episode.
