Nickelodeon Studios Florida was a television taping studio and family attraction at Universal Studios Florida. It opened June 7, 1990, and closed on April 30, 2005. "Me and My Friends", the live-action pilot from 1998 that launched The Backyardigans, was filmed at the studio.

History

In November 1988, Nickelodeon joined the USF team to start its very first production studio. Super Sloppy Double Dare was the first show filmed there. On June 7, 1990, the studio officially opened to the public. Eight years later in November 1998, "Me and My Friends" was filmed at Nickelodeon Studios. It took roughly a week to complete. Following its completion, a plaque bearing the "Me and My Friends" logo was placed on the wall of the main hall.
