Para Backyardigan

Para Backyardigan is the second Indonesian dub of The Backyardigans. This dub has been released exclusively to home video. Unlike the televised dub, only the dialogue is translated and dubbed in Indonesian; all songs are in English.

Release

All the episodes of the series were released onto VCD and DVD; however, the first season is the only season to not have DVD counterparts to the VCDs.

The first season featured three variations of the VCD releases: an English release, a release with the Indonesian dub track, and an English release accompanied by Indonesian subtitles. All further VCD releases only featured an Indonesian dub track.

All DVD releases feature two Indonesian and English audio tracks, as well as its respective subtitles.

All footage is presented in 4:3 PAL.

Distribution

Para Backyardigan has been released on home video in Indonesia by PT Vision Home Entertainment, licensed by FremantleMedia. Videos were released in 2010.

Trivia

This is the second dub to be released on VCD; the first being the 2009 Thai dub.
The first season marks the only instance, in any dub, where the characters do not recite the episode name in the title card; rather, the sole localization comes in the form of an accompanying subtitle underneath the title card visual.
The recordings for the theme song's character introductions are inconsistent, as they are re-recorded for each episode.
Tasha's name/pronunciation has been changed from Tasya (ta-sya) to Tasa (tah-sah) during the second season.
