This cowgirl can really play the clarinet.
I could use her in my cowboy polka band.
You know, it's quite a coincidence, partner.
You play the clarinet,
And I play tuba
And we're both in wyoming!
That is a coincidence.
I bet if we play together,
It would sound really great!
Especially if we play
My favorite kind of music - the polka.
The polka?!
That's my favorite music too!
What a coincidence!
Let's give it a try.
One, two, three, four...

Where are you cowboys headed?
We've got to get to the polka palace in cheyenne by sundown. Sherman's throwing a surprise birthday party for his brother there. I'm going to play my tuba.
(Squeak, squeak)
Sherman says want to come to the party and play with me?

(Squeak, squeak)
We better make tracks. Cheyenne is still quite a ways down-river.
(Banging of drums in distance)
Hey, do you hear drums?
It's that cowboy drummer on the raft again.
Maybe he could give us a ride to cheyenne!
Hey there, cowboy!
Uniqua: hey, wait up, amigo! We need a ride!
(Austin doesn't hear and disappears again. Suddenly...)
Pablo: help! Help!
Sounds like somebody's in trouble, partners!

(Squeak, squeak)
Don't worry!
(Overblows on the tuba)
(Horses whinny)
(Panting)
Pablo: He stopped them! With his tuba!
It's just an old cowboy trick, partners. Runaway horses always stop running when they hear a tuba.
Uniqua: I didn't know that.
Pablo: Let's get them into the corral. It's feeding time!
Pablo:
- feedin' time,
feedin' time, *

fresh from the well *
- You can tell it's got
that swell well smell *
- Horsey, horsey
move your snout. *
- Bring it over here
quit snuffling about *
- Come and eat your grub
- While we sing
our feeding song *
- Come and eat
and bob your heads *
- And tap your hooves along

Pablo: thanks, y'all! I never could've gotten those horses Back in the corral without you. I'm cowboy pablo.
Howdy. I'm cowboy tyrone.
And I'm cowgirl uniqua.
(Squeak, squeak)
And this is my pal sherman the worman.
I see you play the accordion.
Pablo: Yup. I play my accordion to let the horses know it's feedin' time. But today, it sounded soooo pretty, that I forgot to lock the gate, and they ran away!
You know partner,
This is quite a coincidence!
I play the tuba...
And I play the clarinet...
And I play the accordion...
And we're all here in wyoming!
That is a coincidence.
I bet it would sound great If the three of us played together.
Especially if we played my favorite kind of music - the polka.
In unison: (gasps) the polka!
That's our favorite music, too!
All: what a coincidence!
Let's play some!
One, two, three, four...
Yip! Yip! Yip! Yip!

Yip! Yip! Yip! Yip!
- Dance little worman polka *
- Dance little worman polka
Yip! Yip! Yip! Yip!
- Dance little worman polka
All: that was sooooo pretty!
Uniqua: Want to come play at a surprise birthday polka party with us?
Pablo: I'm in! I love surprise parties! Especially when everyone yells "Surprise!"
(Squeak, squeak)
Good point, sherman.
He says, we better hurry
If we want to get to cheyenne before sundown.
Uniqua: then let's make tracks!
Come on!
Uniqua: time's getting tight.
Pablo: and cheyenne is still quite a ways down river.
Tyrone sure would be nice if we had a ride.
(Distant drum beat)
Hey! Drums! I hear drums!
Do you hear it, y'all?
Uniqua: darn tootin'!
It's that cowboy drummer on the raft again!
Hey cowboy!
Pablo: hey! Mister drummer guy!
Tyrone 'scuse me, partner!
Uniqua: He's so busy drumming he can't hear us!
(Squeak, squeak)
Good idea, sherman! If we all play together, maybe he'll hear us! Ready? And a-one, and a-two...
(Play together)
(Finishes song)
Austin: Howdy, partners!
Tyrone: Howdy! We need to get to the cheyenne polka palace.
Uniqua: If you could give us a ride, We'd be much obliged, amigo.
Pablo: we'd appreciate it, too.
Austin: well, I'd love to give you a ride.
Tyrone: great!
Austin: except, I can't stop! Help! Help!
Don't worry! We'll help you!
Pablo: I've got just the thing.
Tyron: pull, partners!
All: heave! Ho! Heave! Ho!
Austin: Thanks, partners! Come on aboard!
Hi. I'm cowboy tyrone.
And I'm cowgirl uniqua.
Cowboy pablo.
Sherman: (squeaks)
Tyrone: and he's sherman the worman.
Howdy. I'm cowboy austin.
(Squeaks)
Austin: let's get moving to cheyenne!
(The raft begins to sail.)
Tyrone: Say, cowboy austin, How did you get stuck on this raft?
Austin: Well, I was playing my drums, and it sounded soooo pretty, that I let the oars slip off!
That could happen.
You know, it's quite a coincidence
That you're a cowboy drummer
And we're cowboy musicians, too!
That is quite a coincidence.
Hey, we could be a cowboy band.
Austin: yeah. But there's just one problem.
Pablo: what's that?
The only kind of cowboy music
I know how to play is... Polka.
All: polka?!
What a coincidence!
Pablo: that's exactly the kind of music we play.
Uniqua: let's try it!
Tyrone: and a-one, and a-two...
- Dance little worman polka
Yip! Yip! Yip! Yip!
- Dance little worman polka
- Dance little worman polka
Yip! Yip! Yip! Yip!
- Dance little worman polka
(Long squeak)
You're right, sherman.
Now we've got a full,
-Piece cowboy polka band!
All: hooray!
Uniqua darn tootin'!
And we'll surely get to cheyenne by sundown.
And when your brother herman comes,
We'll all jump out and yell, "surprise!"
- Oh we're floating,
down the river, *
- Just a cowboy polka band *
- We have found ourselves
a drummer, *
- Who will give our band
a hand *
- Gotta make it to a party,
- Just in time to yell
"surprise!" *
- Then we'll play
some polka music, *
- For the worman gals
and guys. *
- Oh my sherman,
oh my worman, *
- Don't you worry,
don't you fret *
- We will make it
to the party, *
- We will get there,
yeah you bet *
Hey, does our cowboy polka band have a name?
Not yet.
(Squeaks)
That's a good name, sherman,
The ramblin' polka cowboys!
All: the ramblin' polka cowboys!
- Oh, we're floating
down the river, *
- Down to cheyenne,
that's the town *
- We're the ramblin'
polka cowboys, *
- Gonna rock
that polka down *
- Sundown's coming,
pretty soon now, *
- But we'll get there
just the same *
- We will please
those polka wormans, *
- And achieve great
polka fame *
- Oh my sherman,
oh my worman, *
- Don't you worry,
don't you fret *
- Sure the party starts
in minutes, *
- But we'll get there,
yeah you bet *
(Water rumbling)
Uh, partners? I think we've got a problem up ahead.
We do?
Austin: Now that's what I call a big waterfall!
Pablo: we're going to go right over!
Tyron: not if we jump first.
C'mon, sherman!

To surprise your brother, sherman.
(Squeaks)
C'mon!
(They reach the Polka Palace; they enter to find an array of Worman guests.)
